A simple way to cure yummy olives yourself at home!
Language Bites: pick or buy, wash, dissolve, put, cover and sit.
What do I need?
My greengrocer gave me this easy peasy recipe! The idea is to keep
olives in water for a period of three weeks.
- 1 kg + 300 gr Fresh Green Olives.
- Water.
- 40 gr salt per litre of water.
- Finocchietto herb / wild fennel.
- Jars
Simple steps
- Wash the olives thoroughly.
- Dissolve salt in water
- Put olives in jars.
- Cover with salted water.
- Allow to sit for about 3 weeks.
Enjoy your aperitivo with tarallini!
