A simple way to cure yummy olives yourself at home!

Language Bites: pick or buy, wash, dissolve, put, cover and sit.

What do I need?

My greengrocer gave me this easy peasy recipe! The idea is to keep
olives in water for a period of three weeks.

  • 1 kg + 300 gr Fresh Green Olives.
  • Water.
  • 40 gr salt per litre of water.
  • Finocchietto herb / wild fennel.
  • Jars

Simple steps

  1. Wash the olives thoroughly.
  2. Dissolve salt in water
  3. Put olives in jars.
  4. Cover with salted water.
  5. Allow to sit for about 3 weeks.

Enjoy your aperitivo with tarallini!
